Not really, just for this ROW80!

How did I do?
Not really sure, had lots of poofy dogs, lots of life and lots of doubts.

However, I have a new understanding of my WIP and what I need to do, and, more importantly, how to do it.
I also realized how to fix a finished manuscript. Figured out what was missing, like, a plot, motvation and mythology.

I was going to take next round off and then I thought, why? Where would I get my motivation, my pats on the back, or my kick in the arse? Right here dummy. At ROW80.

So, I'll see you next round!

  1. I'm glad you have a better understanding of your WIP now. Sometimes you just need time.

It's so good to hear you're joining up for the next round of ROW. I'm still tossing up on whether to join or not. Either way, I'll still be stopping by your blog!

    Happy holidays!

  2. Gaining new insight is huge, way to go. Best of luck in Round One 2012.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday!

  3. Thank you Komal -- either way I'll still be stopping by yours as well. I have to make sure you don't destroy anything else in the pursuit of knowledge!

Hoey Raelyn, thanks for stopping by -- yes, new insight...if only I could get it in my life!

Happy Holidays to both of you!

  4. I'm glad we'll be seeing you in Round !, Amy. I need that kick in the arse, too, LOL.

Don't downplay what you gained from the thought and organization in this Round, as Raelyn says. I think you've accomplished a lot.

    Have a wonderful holiday!

  5. Aww, thanks Elizabeth! I know, I can't think about what I didn't do, but what I did. I'm gearing up for the next round -- deciding what/how/when etc.

    Happy Holidays!

  6. Yeah you better come back! Learning how to fix a completed manuscript is a VERY big deal. Congrats. You may not think you've done much this round but I think you have. Next round will be bigger and better for you. Enjoy your break and we'll see you next round.

  7. Congratulations on learning how to fix a manuscript. I'm still trying to figure it out. :) Of course you need to come back for 2012. No sense in doing it all alone. Merry Christmas and happy writing!

  8. Ryan, okayokay, it's pretty good. And I'll be back...

Robin, thanks so much -- I think the fixing thing comes from the actual fixing, you know what I mean? You don't get it until you try to do it. I don't know...

    Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

  9. Yes, yes, yes. I can't imagine life without ROW anymore... I appreciate the respite so I can snuggle up with my goals & be discerning. The last round (my first!) was so helpful with that...

THANK YOU FOR COMMENTING on my final round 4 post!

  10. Thank you Nancy! You too.

Julie -- I know! So glad you joined in last round, we'll see for the next. And I agree, I enjoy the respite as well.

  11. Great, maybe you can help me figure it out then. Great blog!

  12. Hi Elliot, thanks for stopping by -- I did figure it out...in my brain. I've literally taken days off of writing. So I haven't actually physically written enough to know whether it will work. I'll keep you posted though!

  13. Okay, I'll bite--what is ROW??? Totally curious.

And very nice job figuring out how to fix the ms.! That's definitely a tough one, tweaking after it's been completed. Hooray!

    *throws confetti for you* :)

  14. Yay! Thanks for the confetti J.K.
So ROW80 is this totally cool thing -- a Round Of Words in 80 days. You set up your own goals and then cheer each other on.
